Food Security & Provisioning

We believe that sustainable farming practices are essential for the health of our planet and our customers. That's why we use natural fertilizers, crop rotation, and other sustainable practices to grow our produce.

Off-Grid Living

We are proud to be a part of the local community and support local initiatives. We work with local schools to provide educational programs and donate a portion of our profits to local charities and organizations.

Faith-Based Homesteading

We steward creation through sustainable rabbitry, off-grid living, and regenerative farming. Every element of our homestead serves a purpose—food, fertility, and resilience in harmony with nature.  

Our off-grid rabbitry is built on sustainability, self-sufficiency, and divine stewardship—partnering with creation as God originally intended (Genesis 1:26-28). Every element serves a purpose: rabbits enrich the land, feed our family, and support a thriving ecosystem through regenerative soil-building and mindful animal husbandry. Rooted in faith and the biblical call to responsible dominion, we embrace a closed-loop, waste-free approach to homesteading, proving that even barren rock can sustain abundant life when managed with wisdom and care. 

Our History

Our farm was founded in 1985 by John Smith. We started with just 10 acres of land and a handful of cows. Over the years, we've grown to over 100 acres and expanded our livestock to include pigs and chickens. We're proud to have been serving the local community for over 35 years.

At Natural by Design, our mission is to provide our customers with the freshest, highest quality produce and meat products. We're committed to sustainable farming practices that protect our land and animals for future generations. We believe that by supporting local agriculture, we can help build stronger and healthier communities.

Our Team

Our team at Natural by Design is made up of dedicated farmers, ranchers, and support staff who are passionate about what they do. We work hard every day to ensure that our animals are well-cared for and that our crops are healthy and abundant. We're proud to be a part of the local farming community and we're always happy to share our knowledge and experience with others.
