At Natural by Design, our Rabbit Warren embodies the motto Crescimus Una—We Thrive Together. More than a rabbitry, it is a living system of stewardship, resilience, and faith-driven sustainability.
Each carefully chosen breeding pair, each innovative hutch design, and every harvest of Golden Mulch reflects our commitment to working with creation rather than against it. Through ethical husbandry and regenerative land care, we provide food security, enrich the soil, and model sustainable living in alignment with God’s design.
Whether you are here to learn, grow, or simply appreciate the beauty of harmonious stewardship, welcome to the Warren.
Some truths don’t arrive as sermons. They arrive as symbols.
One anchors. The other watches.
Together, they reveal the Way
The Root remembers the ancient path—grounded, unseen,
deep through time. The Rabbit watches—quick-footed, soft-eyed,
alert to the tremors of the land. One anchors. The other moves.
Together, they reveal the Way.
They are not mascots. They are metaphors. They remind us: that to walk in House Christ is to live both deeply rooted and wildly responsive—to watch for rhythms unseen, and move not by fear, but by wonder.
This is why our tools bear names from bloodlines.
Why our rabbits carry the names of saints and sovereigns.
Not for nostalgia. Not for heritage.
But to trace the scrolls back to the One who sealed them.
Rabbits have long been woven into our heritage, from folklore to farmstead. This hub covers everything from hutch design to AI-generated fables, sustainable rabbit care, and exclusive NFT rabbit art. Whether you’re here to learn, build, or create, Hutch & Warren offers a deep dive into the world of the rabbitry.
Here, we share the wisdom, practices, and creativity that flow from our Rabbitry, where every carefully chosen breeding pair, every modular hutch, and each harvest of Golden Mulch reflects our commitment to working with creation, not against it.
Bringing the heart of the Warren to life. Every rabbit has a story, and every story reflects something greater. Whether it’s practical wisdom from managing a rabbitry, faith-inspired fables, or personal insights from life among the Warren, these narratives capture the deeper lessons hidden in everyday stewardship.

This section is devoted to the wisdom and work of tending both land and livestock in ways that honor creation, increase resilience, and feed the household well.
• Animal Husbandry
Practicing compassionate, small-scale care of livestock through rotation-based hutches and portable enclosures that enrich the land rather than deplete it. Focused care of animals like rabbits, chickens, and ducks allows for efficient integration into the homestead with minimal impact and maximum return.
• Rabbitry Integration
Rabbits provide a low-footprint source of protein, pelts, and manure. Through strategic breeding, deep bedding, and movable pens, the rabbitry becomes a central system in your permaculture loop—generating fertility, food, and trade goods.
• Soil-Building
Cultivating “living dirt” through hay layering, composting, and manure management. This slow alchemy of organic matter turns even poor soils into fertile ground, echoing the truth that good things take time and care.
• Garden & Food Production
Embracing regenerative micro-crofting techniques tailored to challenging landscapes—like shallow soil or rocky terrain (e.g., Precambrian bedrock). Raised beds, hügelkultur mounds, and no-till systems allow for abundant yields even in less-than-ideal conditions.
• Preservation, Foraging & The “Forever Stew”
Food doesn’t start and end at the garden. This practice includes:
• Foraging native plants and fungi with knowledge and reverence
• Preserving with traditional methods—drying, fermenting, water-bath and pressure canning
• Sustaining the “Forever Stew”—a pot on the hearth or stove where bones, roots, and greens are added over time, reflecting a culture of zero-waste nourishment.
Would you like help turning this into a content series—like a blog category or downloadable guides for each topic? I can also help with naming ideas for sections like this (e.g., “The Steward’s Acre” or “Hearth & Field”).

Some truths arrive not as sermons, but as symbols.
Before crowns and coats of arms—
before the institutions of men—
there was only image and breath.
The garden was wild.
The scrolls were unwritten.
And all creation listened.
The Root
The Root remembers.
It grows downward, unseen—
anchored deep in the soil of time.
Its strength lies not in display, but in its source.
This is Christ—the Root of Jesse (Isaiah 11:1)—the one from whom the faithful branch would emerge.
He is the ancient promise fulfilled, the unseen foundation upon which all else rests.
The Root is also the way of those who walk hidden,
yet hold the line.
It is legacy.
It is covenant.
It is grounding in the unseen realm—where loyalty to the Most High is forged through long obedience.
The Rabbit
The Rabbit watches.
Quick of foot, soft of step,
eyes wide to danger and wonder alike.
It doesn’t dominate—it discerns.
It moves not by fear,
but by instinct attuned to divine whisper.
This is the remnant’s response.
Those who, like Elijah, listen not for the earthquake or fire, but for the still small voice (1 Kings 19:12).
The Rabbit is ready—not to conquer, but to navigate.
Not to flee, but to move with purpose.
You Were Made for Both
To be rooted—like the ancient sons of God, who remained loyal amidst rebellion.
To be watchful—like the wise virgins who kept their lamps trimmed (Matthew 25:1-13).
The scroll of your life is not a strategy.
It is a sacred story—etched in memory,
formed in faith, and carried in obedience.
You were not born neutral.
You were born into a contested cosmos, where allegiance marks identity.
There is a path.
Old as Eden.
Still unfolding.
And it begins where memory and motion meet—
where covenant grounds you, and discernment moves you.
This is the Root.
This is the Rabbit.
This is your invitation—to remember, and to rise.
When Church and State became one, It could have freed every soul. Instead, it centralized power—Turning thrones into civic temples, Abbeys into financial gatekeepers, And need into a means of control. It birthed classes. It created intermediaries. The sacred was no longer walked— It was managed.
One descent changed everything. Not from the top down, but from heaven to earth. Jesus entered the beast system, Not to tame it, But to triumph through surrender. He didn’t seize power— He absorbed death.
And in doing so, He tore the veil and opened the way. Now, sovereignty begins not with kings, But with hearts.
Not with institutions, But with allegiance. The soul finds freedom, Not through escape, But through union—With the only King whose kingdom Is not of this world
You were not born by accident, nor formed in anonymity. Before the foundations of the world, you were known—in Christ, and through the line of dust and promise. You are the offspring of both root and resurrection. Though your flesh bears the marks of ancestry, your spirit is now grafted into something ancient, royal, and divine.
The bloodlines may twist through barons and basket weavers, through saints and warriors—but the truest lineage is of the Spirit. Christ, the Root of Jesse, took your sin-stained scroll and in exchange gave you His: a scroll of sonship, of co-heirship, of priesthood.
No longer bound by the old creature, you now carry the DNA of the new. Not by blood alone, but by Spirit. Not by titles, but by testimony. Like the rabbit—quick, observant, resilient—you move through the story with your eyes on the Root, your scroll held firm.
Here, in House Christ, lineage is not erased—it is redeemed. Stories are not forgotten—they are fulfilled. And through it all, your inheritance is sealed. Not by man. But by the One who traded His life to give you His Spirit. This is the scroll of becoming. This is the scroll of the Root and the Rabbit.
Some truths don’t arrive as sermons. They arrive in symbols—whispers from the unseen realm. Before kings and kingdoms, before the dividing of nations at Babel, there was only image and breath—tselem and neshamah. The garden was untamed, Eden a cosmic mountain-temple. And creation, both seen and unseen, bore witness to the voice of Yahweh.
The Root remembers—buried deep in the sacred ground of Eden, tethered to the Tree of Life, nourished by the streams that flowed from the holy place. It whispers of loyalty, covenant, and ancient presence. The Rabbit watches—agile, alert, created with awareness of rhythms that man no longer hears. It darts between realms, sensing when the veil thins. Its path may seem chaotic, but it dances with the wind of the Ruach.
One is grounded in counsel. The other, responsive to revelation. Together, they point to the Way. They are not mascots. They are metaphors. They call us to live as watchers and dwellers— as those who do not forget the council of old nor the voice in the whirlwind. To walk in House Christ is to live rooted in sacred history, yet responsive to present calling—to discern not just with the eyes, but with the spirit.
That is why our rabbits carry the names of kings, saints, and sages—
not to preserve heritage for its own sake, but because in their line, we trace divine conflict and divine invitation. Each bloodline speaks of battles fought, covenants made, and destinies sealed.
We name them not to honor man—but to remember the scrolls… and the One who opens them.
